犹他大学(The University of Utah)Kai Fu课题组23Fall计划招收1-2名博士生,招生方向主要是电子工程(ECE)、应用物理(Applied Physics)、材料科学(Materials Science)及相关领域的学生。有兴趣的同学请发简历到kai.fu@utah.edu。
     Kai Fu教授于2022年加入犹他大学,任电子与计算机工程系助理教授。他于2013年在中科院大学获得博士学位,先后担任中科院苏州纳米所副研究员、亚利桑那州立大学(ASU)助理研究科学家、及莱斯大学(Rice University)研究科学家。他曾主持和参与多项中国和美国的项目,主要研究方向是宽禁带半导体(GaN、Ga2O3、AlN、Diamond等)材料生长与器件,尤其是面向功率电子与光电集成方向。他目前发表文章90+篇,引用率1900+,获授权专利24项,是Electronics(IF 2.69)的客座编辑和功率电子方向编辑成员。
       犹他大学是一所位于美国犹他州的高等教育旗舰型大学,也是一所世界顶尖的公立研究型大学, 属于北美顶级研究型大学联盟美国大学协会(AAU)、太平洋十二校联盟(PAC-12)成员。该校拥有5位诺贝尔奖、8位麦克阿瑟奖、3位图灵奖、17位美国科学院与工程院院士、22位罗德学者、2位宇航员。犹他大学在George W.    We invite Ph.D. students to join our group at the University of Utah. Ideal candidates should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in electrical engineering, applied physics, optical engineering, semiconductors, materials science, or any related area. All Ph.D. students are offered a competitive stipend throughout the course of their studies. Interested applicants, please contact Prof. Kai Fu (kai.fu@utah.edu) directly. Both the University of Utah and the College of Engineering provide many scholarship opportunities.

About Prof. Kai Fu’s group
Research interests: Semiconductor devices, wide bandgap semiconductors (GaN, AlN, Ga2O3, BN, diamond), material epitaxy science, nanofabrication, semiconductor characterization, reliability, heterogeneous integration, power electronics, high-temperature electronics.
Personal profile:  Prof. Kai Fu joined the University of Utah in 2022 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is the first author or co-author of 1 book chapter, 90+ journal papers, 60+ conference proceedings, and 24 granted patents. His h-index is 24 with 1900+ citations according to Google Scholar. He has supervised 10+ graduate students. He is the reviewer of 20+ journals, and a Section Board Member (Power Electronics) of Electronics.
