ENSACO™ & SUPER P™ conductive carbon blacks are carbon blacks with a high to very high void volume allowing the retention of a carbon network at low to very low filler content. The void volume can originate from the interstices between the carbon black particle due to their complex arrangement and from the porosity. acetylene black A special type of carbon black formed by an exothermic decomposition of acetylene. It is characterized by the highest degree of aggregation and crystalline orientation when compared with all types of carbon black. Note: Acetylene black must not be confused with the carbon black produced as a by-product during the production of acetylene in the electric arc process. |
