Chemosphere期刊投稿字数限制问题

| 请问一下Chemosphere期刊的author guidline里要求研究论文总字数 6500，同时要求图表不超过7个，每个图表按300字算，就是2100个字，意思就是文字不能超过4400字吗？ |

Research papers that meet the Aims and Scope of the journal reporting original and previously unpublished work. The Editors generally encourage brevity for all Research Papers should preferably not exceed 6,500 words (excluding refs.) Each figure or table should be considered equal to 300 words. The number of figures and/ or tables should not exceed a total amount of seven. 期刊说明里写了这么两段话，前边说研究论文不超过6500字，后边说每个图表相当于300字，都有点晕了，您帮忙看看6500的字数限制是否包括图表？ |
