链接:https://m.x-mol.com/job/4087 1-2 postdoctoral position is immediately available in Dr. Hongbo Pang lab, Department of Pharmaceutics, college of pharmacy, University of Minnesota (Minneapolis). UMN is a comprehensive , world-renowned public university, and the college of pharmacy ranks top 3 nationwide. Pang lab harnesses interdisciplinary technologies to discover peptide-based targeting tools and novel biomarkers for human diseases, develop novel diagnoses and therapies, and explore novel cellular and physiological processes. Our group has published 14 research articles in the past five years, including those in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications, ACS Nano, Advanced Science, Advanced Functional Materials and so on. Funded by several NIH and state/UMN grants, we are looking for one to two highly motivated and self-driven individuals to join in our research effort of developing peptide-guided therapeutics against a wide variety of human diseases, especially acute and chronic inflammatory conditions. The successful candidate will be also tasked/involved with projects ranging from peptide screening, disease modeling, peptide-drug/nanotechnology synthesis and therapeutic evaluation. Our current group is highly interdisciplinary with experts in material sciences, disease modeling, immunology, obesity, cell biology, and so on. Collaboration within the group as well as externally is highly encouraged. We are interested in applicants holding a PhD degree in a broad range of biomedical or material science fields. Candidates with experience in disease modeling, immunology, nanomaterial or organic chemistry are highly encouraged to apply. The candidate is also expected to have outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and writing skills.
