#studentsOpportunities #MASc #PhD #Water and #Wastewater Treatment  Dr. Xiaying Xin, an assistant professor from Queen's University, Canada, is looking to recruit graduate students with background in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry, and microbiology, or related disciplines. Dr. Xin's research focuses on water and wastewater treatment strategies, environmental impact assessment, and risk management. Dr. Xin's expertise lies in advanced oxidation process, biodegradation, biofiltration, and bubble technology. Dr. Xin is fascinated by the treatment of toxic bacteria, algae, biotoxins, antibiotic resistant bacteria/genes, and emerging contaminants (e.g. pharmaceuticals and personal care products, flame retardants, microplastics).
