材料制备中回流问题

| 想请教下大家，文献中制备完材料，有这样一句”After cooling down, black solid powder was collected by extraction, washed three times with D-Milli-Q water and methanol, and refluxed overnight in methanol. “ 其中，” refluxed overnight in methanol“ 不太明白这步的作用和操作。回流过夜（在三口烧瓶中插上冷凝管？），不需要温度么？具体操作是什么样子的？谢谢大家了！ |
