[交流] Working as a volunteer in the Anti-Covid battle

It seems I cannot make my words larger here,

Why?

How is the COVID-19 condition in your city?

It is bad here.

The poor condition has lasted for more than two weeks.

But the good thing is that we have enough food. So, just felt lonely, but not hungry.

I worked as a volunteer for our community and also on the campus.

Life is difficult, I will gossip here, to amuse you, and also to record my life at this special time.

Our coummunity is a lare one, with more than 20 apartment buildings. Most of the buildings have more than 10 storeys.

Every day, groccderies and daily things were sent to the entrance of the community, then these things will be delivered to the entrance of each building, one volunteer who serves at the building will notice the person who bought them, to go downstairs go take the package.

Things were delivered with electric trikes. But we are short of such vehicles, maybe we only have one. So, sometimes, I did this with an e-bike.

Sometimes, when the you cannot reach the person who bought the things, you have to take it to the door, because there is address on the package.

Most people will open their door to received the package, and say thank you to you with smile on the face. But, some will not, it seems that often they have not got up when you knock at their door, after five to six minutes, they will open the door, and get the package, sometimes, they will say "thank you" to you, but with a drawn face.

The notice tells tha residents that shopping and delivering food are not easy, so do not buy heavy things, such as big bottled drinking water.

However, once I did delivered a 5-kg bottled water to a girl, she was right the person who was late, who was emotionless to me.

Of course, you may say that I do not need to give the package face to face to the resident. However, you have to do it. Because if you do not, the package may be sent to a wrong person, because a some very rare occasions, the words written on the package is not clear enough, some may even write the wrong name or addresses, or the package was sent to a wrong community.
