马德里自治大学的Dr. Carlos Antón-Solanas招收CSC资助学生,物理方向,详情见下方,有意者联系邮件Carlos Anton Solanas <carlos.anton@uam.es> 具体方向: Project 1: Polariton networks for quantum optical technologies (“0_PhD project topolaritons.pdf" ![]() Using polariton lattices in semiconductor nanostructures, we propose to exploit the nonlinear nature of polaritons and the topology of these lattices to implement two advanced photonic operations: (1) ultrafast reconfigurable photon-connectivity, controlling non-linear multi-node interactions among switchable cavity modes in lattices with different geometries, (2) explore the robust light propagation in multimode topologically protected edge-states of polaritonsmin a (newly proposed) Hofstadter polariton lattice. Project 2: Ultrabright sources of single photons in an open cavity (“0_PhD project opencavity.pdf" ![]() We propose to exploit an open photonic cavity coupled to emerging quantum materials; the device will be able to operate at cryogenic and room temperature (depending on the material coupled to the cavity), offering great versatility in two quantum applications: (1) quantum communication via testing quantum key distribution protocols, we will obtain bright single photon emission from hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) in the visible range (at room temperature). (2) quantum computing with multi-photon entangled states from the ultra-bright emission of single photons emitted by semiconductor quantum dots (at cryogenic temperatures). 发自小木虫IOS客户端 |
