We are looking for a PhD student who is interested in the following areas: Building Information Modeling (BIM) Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) on Infrastructure Systems Sustainable Infrastructure Design, Construction, and Operation Smart City and Construction Project Performance Evaluation Automated Project Feedback Control Data-driven Infrastructure Asset Management Financial support will be available and deadline for the application is 1st December 2022. Applicants from an institution where the language of teaching is not English should satisfy the following minimum English proficiency requirements: A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 59 (revised paper delivered test; sum of Reading, Listening and Writing section scores); or A minimum overall band score of 6.5 in IELTS. After working for engineering companies, he also received the MS and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University. Before joining City University of Hong Kong, he worked for the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) at Stanford University as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. His research focus is on the implementation of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) to develop and manage sustainable and smart infrastructure and energy systems in an integrated manner.
