Postdoctoral Researcher in Theoretical Quantum Physics (US position)

A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available at the Homer L. Dodge Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Center for Quantum Research and Technology at University of Oklahoma, in the quantum theory group of Dr. Zhu. The successful candidate will conduct theoretical research at the interface of quantum information science, quantum optics and condensed matter physics, with a focus on nonequilibrium quantum many-body phenomena and quantum computing with neutral atoms. Topics of interest include but are not limited to, quantum dynamics in new regimes relevant to current AMO platforms, new approaches for simulating complex quantum systems, and their applications in quantum technologies, including quantum simulation and sensing. The University of Oklahoma is a Carnegie-R1 comprehensive public research university known for excellence in teaching, research, and serving the educational, cultural, economic and healthcare needs of the state, region, and nation.
