香港城市大学机械工程系Dr. Walid Daoud招RA，有机会转PhD Job advert Position: Research Assistant About the job The Energy Harvesting and Wearable Energy Technologies Laboratory, led by Professor Walid Daoud in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, invites applications for the position of Research Assistant. Applicants should have (i) an MSc in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related disciplines; (ii) solid bench work experience and research skills; (iii) solid experience in synthetic leather development and characterization; and (iv) high motivation and commitment for scientific research and writing. Hands-on experience in synthetic leather production, an excellent command of written and spoken English and a good first-author publication track record will be advantageous. The appointee will be responsible for (a) scientific work of the corresponding project; (b) preparing, conducting and reporting of the research work; (c) writing scientific articles; and (d) performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. The initial appointment will be made on a 6-month contract, extendable to two years, subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
