Postdocs, graduate student, visiting student positions are available in the Chemical Biology Group of Dr. Han Xiao at Rice University (https://xiao.rice.edu). The focus of our research is the development of innovative chemical tools allowing us to understand complex biology system as well as develop novel therapeutic strategies. More information on the research program can be found at: https://xiao.rice.edu We are currently accepting applications for highly self-motivated postdocs, graduate student, visiting students with one of the following expertise: 1. Medicinal Chemistry: We are looking for scholars with experiences in Medicinal Chemistry to join this project. Candidates with experiences in Drug Discovery, Organic Synthesis, Total Synthesis, and/or Methodology are preferred. 2. Metabolic Engineering: We are looking for scholars with experiences in metabolic engineering to join this project. Candidates with experiences in genome editing, protein engineering, and/or cell engineering are preferred. 3. Protein and Cell Engineering: We are looking for scholars with experiences in protein and cell engineering to join this project. Candidates with experiences in genome editing, protein engineering, and/or cell engineering are preferred.
