#PhD #Water and Wastewater Treatment #Environmental Impact Analyses Dr. Xiaying Xin, from Queen's University, Canada, is looking to recruit graduate students with background in environmental engineering, environmental science, chemistry, microbiology, or related disciplines. Her research focuses on water and wastewater treatment and environmental impact and risk assessment. Her expertise lies in the use of nanotechnology and biotechnology to remove toxic bacteria and emerging contaminants (e.g. PPCPs, microplastics, flame retardants). Her expertise also lies in the use of Synchrotron Radiation and the associated techniques to solve a variety of challenges in analytical chemistry.
