美国南卡罗来纳大学招收博士、博士后

本课题组位于University of South Carolina，研究方向为生物材料模拟计算，现招收两名博士生和两名博士后。 (1) Two PhD student positions： 一个在biomedical engineering，另外一个在chemical engineering。研究方向是生物材料和纳米材料模拟和设计。采取模拟 (量子，分子和coarse-grained)，实验和machine learning结合。 博士生提供全奖 ，工资$25,000-30,000/年，学费免除。 入学时间是2023年的春季或者秋季。 基本要求： 1. 理工科专业 (化工，生工，材料，机械，环境, 计算机，EE, 化学，物理，生物等) 数学基础好的本科或者硕士都可以申请； 2. 有一定编程基础； 对C++, C, Fortran或者Python 有一定经验； 3. 博士生申请最低要求： GPA > 3.2; Tofel 80, or IELTS 6.5; GRE不要求。 The expertise in simulations (quantum, atomistic, CG, CFD, numerical computations or machine learning) or electrochemistry/bio- experiments would be a plus. 申请截止时间：Spring Preferred Application Deadline: October 31; Summer Preferred Application Deadline: February 28；Fall Preferred Application Deadline: March 31. (2) Two Postdoc Positions：课题方向是 biological system (proteins, lipids, and nucleotides) ，高分子和纳米颗粒模拟计算。博士后salary是$55k-60k, 初始工作期限可以到两年。一名的入职时间是2023年8-12月；另外一名的入职时间可以是2023年底-2024年春/夏。 要求： 1. The candidate is required to have the expertise in coarse-grained, atomistic MD simulations, or/and free energy computations. 2.
