哈利法科技大学 (khalifa university of science & technology) 两维材料方向博士后 哈利法科技大学（khalifa university of science & technology, ku），地处世界上最安全最富庶城市之一的阿联酋首都阿布扎比市。近年来阿联酋政府大力推动科教，旨在传承及振兴中东地区自古以来之璀璨文明 （“哈利法”即含有传承之意），及发展后石油经济。 ku始建于2008年。建校以来，校方致力于网罗各地科研精英，各系教授皆来自欧美亚名校，阵容强盛，科研实力超群。自建校短时间内即已名列各大学排名榜前位 (2023 qs=183)。 the research & innovation center for graphene and 2d materials (ric-2d) hosted by ku is part of a strategic investment by the government of abu dhabi, united arab emirates to advance the scientific development and commercial deployment of technologies derived from graphene and other 2d materials. ric-2d will serve as an integral part of an advanced materials innovation ecosystem being developed in abu dhabi. established in 2022, ric-2d will host a range of activities to support both research and technology advancement of graphene and other enhanced 2d materials in the region. several postdoctoral researcher positions are now available in (1) synthesis and characterization of 2d and 2d heterogeneous materials for light-weight materials/sensor/filter development; (2) 2d material reinforced ceramic composites. successful candidates should hold a phd degree from a reputable educational institute, and have strong background in chemistry and/or material science and engineering. for position (1) applicants must be experienced in synthesizing 2d materials (such as graphene, phosphorene, mxene, hbn, and tmds). for position (2), applicants should have research experience in ceramic composites, and research experience in 3d printing of various materials systems would be an advantage. Successful applicants will have a chance to conduct short-term research at the University of Manchester's Graphene Engineering Innovation Center. starting salary for postdoc position is around usd 6.2k /month (tax free) depending on experience. interested parties may send cv/inquiry to: prof. kin liao department of aerospace engineering khalifa university of science and technology email: kin.liao@ku.ac.ae |
