[交流] 美国北卡罗来纳州立大学招收能源方向2023年秋季博士生

Professor Mengmeng Zhu’s lab at the Department of Textile Engineering, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA, is seeking applicants to conduct research on the prognostics and health management of energy storage systems (Lithium-ion batteries).

Prof. Zhu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Textile Engineering and the Operations Research Graduate Programs at North Carolina State University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Rutgers University in 2018 and her M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Statistics at Rutgers University in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Prof. Zhu’s research interests lie in system reliability, resilience, prognostics and health management, and computational data analytics on energy storage systems and Internet of Things.

Our lab is looking for one Ph.D. student, supported by Graduate Research Assistantship that covers stipend, tuition, and health insurance, starting from Fall 2023 or earlier with the preferred requirements:
   1. Applicants with research backgrounds on battery prognostics and health management are highly preferred.
   2. Applicants with an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or other related majors are preferred.
   3. Applicants who are highly self-motivated.
   4. Applicants need to meet the admission requirements of the Graduate School at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA.
