投稿被拒，编辑表示可将论文改为conceptual再重投。我是理工科的，以前都是投的研究类论文，此论文的内容涉及交叉学科，所以试着投了一个SSCI，但是对conceptual这一类别完全不懂。所以想请教一个大家，是否有必要试一下？主要是担心花费了时间和精力大改了文章但做无用功（投的期刊是中科院一区Top） 以下是编辑邮件相关内容： I decided not to send it to reviewers. The reason is that the paper makes primarily empirical controbution, while our scope requires conceptual. However, I see potential in your paper. I would therefore would like to invite you to consider two options: Option 1: I invite you to revise the paper in line with the following comments and submit it as a new manuscript: There is a potential for theoretical contribution but this would require a reframing of the study from the conceptual multisensory experiences. If you choose to re-submit to XXX, I would expect a different framing (and a re-write) in Introduction, Discussion, and Conclusion. Your empirical findings lend themselves to this type of higher-order analysis.
