Reviewer #1: Dear Authors: This paper describes the precise and accurate thermodynamic quantities for C6H5COONa and hence it is worth publishing. However, it should be revised in a few points below. 1. In Abstract, text, and Table 5, 2. In text, 3. In Tables 4 and 5, {CH3COONa(s)} + solution A' = - (10.931 ± 0.113) kJ mol-1 should be corrected to be {CH3COONa(s)} + solution A' = - (10.93 ± 0.11) kJ mol-1. If they are corrected, this paper will be accepted. |

COMMENTS FROM EDITORS AND REVIEWERS Reviewer #1: It is a well written paper with a clear objective and well designed experiments. The findings are a relevant contribution in the field of engineered bioremediation. However, a few minor issues should be addressed: Reviewer #2: This is a good work to combine the bioslurry and two-liquid-phase systems in order to biological degrade persistant contaminants. It contains a variety of chemical and biochemical analysis in order to evaluate the performance of system.
