Dear all,

I hope you’re well.

I am contacting you today as a Lead Guest Editor of a new focus collection in Materials Research Express (MRX), an IOP Publishing (IOPP) journal. From time to time the Editorial Board identifies topics of particular interest to the Materials Research community and creates Focus Collections on these topics. The aim of these collections is to provide a forum for researchers to share new results with the community.

Following my suggestion, MRX are currently looking to run a Focus Collection on “Advances in micro/nano-structured materials for point of care applications” and I would like to officially invite you to co-guest edit this focus collection. If you are interested in this idea, I would be grateful if you could let me know by June 10th. Or if you know someone who would be interested and suitable for this position, please feel free to forward this email to them or let me know.

I attach a copy of the Guest Editor instructions which outline the responsibilities of the Guest Editors and the MRX Publishing team at IOPP. The primary role of the Guest Editors is to suggest a scope and potential authors for the collection, and to write a brief 2-3 page Editorial when the Collection is complete.
