请教各位投过Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A 的大虫

前一阵向MMTA投了一篇过去，现在给的意见应该是修改重投，因为这个投稿系统和其它的elsevie和springer都不一样的，有几个问题向大虫们请教： 1）现在在这个已经做了决定的论文的状态栏只有两个可操作的任务的： Manuscript Tasks： Send Manuscript Correspondence Check Status 没有修改重投这个任务，我该如何操作？ 2）修改后重投的话，是不是就是按照投稿程序重新投稿一遍，是不是与原来的论文稿就没有关系了？ 3）如若是在原来论文稿的基础上进行再投稿，我该怎么操作？ 谢谢！ |

下面是编辑给发的原件的，上个星期在小木虫上咨询了，认为编辑应该是给了修改重投的机会，虽然有个别问题不好回答，还是准备好好修改试一把，但突然搞不清楚重投怎么操作了，所以请教各位。 Dear XXX: Please accept our apologies for the delay in returning a recommendation on your manuscript. We are sorry to inform you that your manuscript in its present form is not suitable for publication in Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A. This decision has been based on the report of the reviewers, a copy of which is enclosed. If you should decide that, despite this rejection, you would like to submit a revised paper to Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A, we will be glad to consider your new paper for publication. However, your accompanying letter of transmittal should indicate explicitly how you have dealt with each of the reviewers' comments, so that the original problems pointed out by the reviewers are not repeated in the new manuscript.
