In the HCS / CPAM / bentonite retention system, the paper sizing degree shows rised trend in the beginning and gentle trend afterwards increased with the using amount of CPAM. Promoting effect of PEI on AKD is obvious. When adding 0.2% PEI, the sizing degree can increase by 67%.
