[交流] Johns Hopkins University Lin Lab博后招聘 (Bioelectronics, Molecular tools)

Introduction to Dingchang Lin, Ph.D.
Dr. Lin is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He obtained his B.S. from Tsinghua University in 2013 (with distinction) and Ph.D. from Stanford University (Advisor: Dr. Yi Cui) in 2018. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University, Dr. Lin has worked with Dr. Charles M. Lieber (A pioneer in Nanotechnology and Bioelectronics) and Dr. Adam E. Cohen (A pioneer in molecular indicators, well-known for his innovation in Genetically Encoded Voltage Indicators).

By far, Dr. Lin has made significant scientific contributions (https://scholar.google.com/citat ... AAAJ&hl=en), with 16 first-author publications, a total citation of over 16,900 times, and an H-index of 47. He has been recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher since 2019 (Web of Science), and has received awards including but not limited to Harvard Brain Institute Young Scientist Transitions Award, Materials Research Society (MRS) Graduate Student Award, and Ross, N. Tucker Memorial Award.

The research in the Lin Lab is at the intersection of neurotechnology, materials chemistry, device design/characterization, materials mechanics, and molecular biology. We strive to innovate tools that can shift the paradigms in fundamental research, diagnostics, and therapeutics (https://engineering.jhu.edu/dclin/). The Lin Lab will majorly focus on:
1) Genetically encoded molecular tools; 2) Nano-bio interface; 3) Neural probe and biosensors;

Openings:
1-2 Postdocs (Starting Aug-Nov 2022).  Postdoc candidates should have the capability to conduct independent research and have published first-author papers in high-profile journals. The candidates with at least one of the following research backgrounds will be favorably considered: 1) Micro/nanofabrication; 2) Molecular Biology and protein engineering; 3) Bioelectronics and biosensors; 4) Survival brain surgery in rodents; 5) Master Matlab and/or Python.
Please contact Dr. Lin (dclin@jhu.edu) if you are interested!
