澳大利亚Monash University智能交通方向招博士生

Dr. Zhuo Chen from Monash University is looking for a Ph.D. student (Suzhou-based) on simulation and optimization of shared mobility. The successful applicant will work at the Monash Suzhou campus (Suzhou, China) and be funded through a university scholarship including a tuition waiver benefit and living stipends. Monash University is a member of the group of eight, an alliance of leading Australian universities recognized for their excellence in teaching and research. It is consistently ranked in the world’s top 100 universities (#57 by times higher education 2022, #58 by qs 2022, and #40 by us news 2022). Transportation science & technology in Monash is ranked 45th in the world (academic ranking of world universities, 2021). Required Qualifications: A master's degree in transportation engineering or other disciplines related to transportation (information technology, geographic information, etc.), and applicants with a B.S. degree but an exceptional academic record will also be considered; A minimum average grade of 85/100 in undergraduate for applicants w/a a master's degree OR (90/100 for applicants w/ a B.S. degree) OR (publications in top peer-reviewed journals) Please refer to the university website for English language proficiency and other required qualifications (https://www.monash.edu/graduate-research/study/apply) Preferred Qualifications: a strong background in simulation/optimization of the transportation system; or geographic analysis; excellent analytical skills; excellent written and oral communication skills; fluent in at least one programming language (python, java, etc.).
