新加坡科技研究局材料与工程研究院（A*STAR, IMRE）吴靖博士课题组专注于二维极限下新型范德瓦尔斯晶体中电、声子，以及诸如激子之类的多体准粒子输运特性的研究。该小组的研究重点是通过了解电子、激子等的内在特性以及和声子、光子等的相互作用，研究微纳尺度上的电、热、热电和激子传输。课题组致力于打造开放、自由、平等、合作、严谨和高效的学术文化和氛围。现拟聘研究员一名，欢迎来自不同专业（包括物理、应用物理、电子工程、材料科学等) 的申请者，具有强自我驱动力+扎实数理功底或者丰富实验经验优先考虑；

具体要求如下：

We are looking for a passionate and capable individual to work on achieving a deep understanding of the structures and behaviors of two-dimensional quantum materials and the potential functionalization in nanoelectronics and magnetic devices. The focus of the research is to design and explore the potentials and capabilities of 2D materials to create a new platform for future functional devices.
The job scope of the research and development work covers characterization and analysis of 2D materials; fabrication and exploration of heterojunctions, devices, and application concepts based on the optical, electronic, and magnetic properties of 2D materials.

Job Requirements:
1. Ph.D. in Physics, material science, materials engineering; or equivalent
2. Passion in use-inspired basic science and the development of functional materials for device applications
3. Candidates should have hands-on experience in Nano-fabrication such as EBL patterning as well as electrodes deposition.
4. Experience in using cryostats with the electronic characterization of nano-devices.
5. Good track record of high impact journal publications will be advantageous.
6. Highly motivated and good team player
7. Flexible and willing to learn new knowledge and techniques
8. Possess good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
9. Excellent oral and written communication skills

待遇：基本工资(税后)年薪 ~80k SGD，（1 SGD ≈5 RMB）

PI简介：
吴靖：新加坡科技研究局材料与工程研究院微纳输运课题组组长，新加坡国立大学材料科学与工程系（NUS,MSE）客座助理教授。2010年本科毕业于浙江大学（竺可桢荣誉学院），2015年于新加坡国立大学凝聚态物理专业获得博士学位。主要从事低维纳米材料的输运研究，并通过物理调制，化学修饰深入挖掘低维材料的奇异特性，探究新的实验物理和器件应用上的突破。以第一/通讯在Nature Electron., Nature Commun., PNAS, Adv. Mater. 等期刊发表超过20篇学术论文。合著学术论文60余篇，H-index 26, 总引用3800余次。
