ÐÂ¼ÓÆÂÄÏÑóÀí¹¤´óѧ 3D´òÓ¡ÖÐÐÄ (SC3DP of NTU) Building & Construction ·½Ïò Associate Prof. Wong Teck Neng ¼Æ»®ÕÐÆ¸²©ºó (research fellow position) Ò»Ãû¡£ Ïà¹ØÐÅÏ¢ÒÔ¼°¾ßÌåÒªÇóÈçÏ£º The Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. The Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting structural testing, such as tensile, compression, flexural and shear tests, to investigate the key parameters in the design of 3D printing concrete specimens on the structural performance, conduct numerical analysis using finite element modelling of structural elements by using ABAQUS, optimisation of printing path design. In addition, the Research Fellow will also assist the Principal Investigator (PI) and his co-investigator in the supervision of junior research staff, graduate and undergraduate students in the research team, and perform all related assignments and studies as directed by the PI from time to time. Key Responsibilities: Structural printing: • Large-scale structural modules with Robotic arm and Gantry system. • Programing code for Robotic arm and Gantry system • Operating the printing system including mixer, pump, robotic arm, and Gantry system • Experimental and numerical investigation • Conduct structural testing, such as tensile, compression, flexural and shear tests • To investigate the key parameters in the design of 3D printing concrete specimens on the structural performance • Conduct numerical analysis using finite element modelling of structural elements by using ABAQUS • Design and fabrication of experimental facilities including nozzles and inline control system based on the theoretical model Job Requirements: • A PhD degree in 3D cementitious material printing, Civil Engineering with a structural engineering major • Possess good knowledge of structural analysis, concrete and steel materials, and finite element analysis • Strong knowledge and experience in 3D cementitious material printing • Excellent in programing code for robotic arm and gantry system operation • Proficiency in use of FEM software, ABAQUS • Strong experience in printing path design • Work on Structural and Surface Optimization • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytic skills • Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team • We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
