PhD positions for machine learning and AI in wireless networks at Auburn University Dr. Xiaowen Gong in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University is seeking self-motivated PhD students to work on machine learning and AI in wireless networks, starting in Spring or Fall 2023. The students will be provided with full financial support. Dr. Gong’s research topics are in wireless networks and their applications, with current focuses on machine learning and AI in wireless networks, edge computing, and network security. He has published more than 50 papers in top journals and conferences, including ToN, JSAC, TMC, TSP, TWC, INFOCOM, MobiHoc, WiOpt. He has also served as editors and TPC members in these top venues. The ECE department has a strong wireless research program supported by the Wireless Engineering Research and Education Center (WEREC), which is an interdisciplinary center funded by an endowment, and is the focal point of the university's wireless activities. |
