英国斯克莱德大学与意法半导体联合项目(至少Cover学费,优秀者全奖)

3-year PhD students in “Fast Time-resolved Imaging using CMOS Single-photon Sensor Arrays” Supervisor: Dr David Li (David.Li@strath.ac.uk). This project aims to develop a fast time-resolved imaging system using innovative CMOS single-photon sensor arrays & intelligent hardware-embedded processors by bringing data analysis close to the sensor front-ends to allow fast imaging. The project promises real-time imaging that can be widely used for manufacturing (virtual prototyping), autonomous cars, robotics, human-machine interfaces & gaming, biomedical imaging or security surveillance. This project fits perfectly with Strathclyde's Measurement Science & Enabling Technologies theme. It also impinges on the Advanced Manufacturing and Materials, Health & Wellbeing, and Ocean, Air & Space themes. We are working with the semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics; the students have opportunities to work in an industrial environment receiving extra training in image sensors. We are looking for students with experience in embedded systems, FPGA (verilog/VHDL), and machine-learning. ST and the university will offer scholarships to cover the study.
