加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学UBC 食品科学系Dr. Tianxi Yang 招收PhD student, 预期2023年1月入学 Dr. Yang's research program is focused on the development of innovative analytical technologies and advanced materials to improve the safety and sustainability of agri-food systems. Her research program is highly interdisciplinary, drawing heavily from Food Science, Analytical Chemistry, Material Science and Nanotechnology. Currently, Yang Group’s primary research themes are: 1. Develop novel Point-of-Care tools for food safety monitoring 2. Design smart nano-enabled agrichemicals for precision agriculture 3. Create sustainable and multifunctional packaging materials to improve food safety and quality 详情请参考：https://www.landfood.ubc.ca/tianxi-yang/ Qualifications of the applicants: • Master's Degree in Food Science, Analytical Chemistry, Material Science or other closely related fields. • Previous research experience includes, but is not limited to analytical chemistry, food analysis, food safety, spectroscopy, microbiology, DNA/RNA nanotechnology, nanomaterials, biopolymer engineering, stimuli-responsive materials, machine learning. • Students with publication records/research experience are preferred. • Be highly motivated, organized, a good communicator (written and verbal), and passionate about research. UBC博士入学时需取得硕士学位，学校最低语言成绩要求：TOEFL score：577 (paper-based test), 233 (computer-based test) or 90 (internet-based)； IELTS : A minimum overall band score of 6.5 is required with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the ACADEMIC test. 不需要GRE。 有意者请在2022年5月1号前直接联系Dr. Yang (tianxi.yang@ubc.ca)，请附带CV（with publication record). |
