| 作为guest editor，你首先需要确定专刊的主题和收稿范围和文章类型。最重要的职责是组稿，就是向潜在的投稿人发出投稿邀请，一旦有人投稿，你需要初步评阅论文是否可以送审，然后就是邀请审稿人，综合审稿人意见作出返修、拒稿或者接收的决定。整个周期历时可能要半年到一年，你不用天天忙这个事情，但是还是会花一定的时间和精力。假如你处于early career, 可以考虑接受这个邀请，目的在于塑造你的学术网络，熟悉论文处理的全部流程，对于你未来的学术发展很有好处。但是，如果你已经在学术界有一定影响，则参与这个一般刊物客座编辑的工作就没有太大意义。 |
