i. job description:
a. position title: battery researcher
b. function/department: high power battery cell research group in research & development
c. location: shanghai, china
d. general purpose of position: the battery researcher will mainly conduct high quality research, lead and support research projects, contribute innovative ideas, and communicate with managers, project lead and team members.

ii. major duties/ responsibilities
a. conduct top notch research in the advanced battery field and document results.
b. exercise innovation and generate new research projects and intellectual property.
c. support multiple research projects simultaneously
d. interface and collaborate with various material and cell suppliers
e. communicate and cooperate with team members

iii. basic qualifications
a. education/training
i. experienced bachelor or master (preferred) degree in lithium ion battery related disciplines such as chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, and mechanical engineering.
ii. minimum 2 years of research experience in batteries with the
emphasis on electrochemistry, material and characterization, battery design and fabrication as well as battery testing
b. knowledge/skills
i. demonstrated knowledge in battery related material science,
analytical chemistry, electrochemistry
ii. demonstrated knowledge in battery performance diagnosis and post-
mortem analysis
iii. demonstrated capability to work effectively in a diverse team environment

iv. desired experience
a. minimum 2 years of working experience in battery research
b. full understanding of battery fabrication processes
c. rich knowledge in electrochemistry
