¡¶Nature¡·Óë¡¶Science¡·2009Äê8ÔÂ28ÈÕ³öÆ·ÄÚÈÝ The Chemical Structure of a Molecule Resolved byAtomic Force Microscopy atomic composition and the geometry of the tip, as well as the relatively low stability of the sys- tem, which can result in unintentional lateral or vertical manipulation of the molecule during imaging. As will be shown below, both problems can be solved by preparing a well-defined tip by deliberately picking up different atoms and mole- cules with the tip apex.
