[交流] Advert for Master's, Liverpool UK (China)

A fully funded master’s studentship starting in 2022, to be awarded a master’s degree by the University of Liverpool UK and based in 苏州Suzhou. This is a joint master’s studentship between Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Advanced Materials (长三角先进材料研究院) and Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University (XJTLU). Graduate entrance exam考研 is not needed. Successful completion of this programme could lead to worldwide career opportunities in academia and high-tech industrial sectors like software, R&D, biomed, robotics and smart manufacturing alike.

Scholarship:
There are generous entry scholarships of up to 100% tuition waiver. Allowances for living and research are also available.

Supervisors:
Drs Li Huang (长三角先进材料研究院) and Chen Xuan (XJTLU).

Modelling and Prediction of Forming Process of SPR-bonded Hybrid Joints through Finite Element Analysis

Requirements and Nice-to-haves:
1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanics, physics, maths, engineering, materials etc.
2. Experience in computational mechanics/physics/maths (with ANSYS/ABAQUS/COMSOL, MATLAB/C++, MATHEMATICA etc).
