Postdoc position in Polymer Chemistry immediately available

A postdoc position immediately available is to develop cell membrane active polymers for membrane protein research. The current project focuses on developing a membrane-active polymer library for high-resolution structure determination of membrane proteins using single-particle cryo-electron microscopy. Many membrane proteins are important drug targets. We are pioneering a new technology development for membrane protein structural biology and related drug discovery and work on selected biomedically important membrane proteins. Working in a multidisciplinary environment, a successful candidate will have great potential to learn from other experts, develop your own unique research areas, and become a leader. Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry or Organic Chemistry is required. Experience in polymer synthesis and characterization using NMR, GPC, and FT-IR and interest in biochemistry will be a plus.
