Postdoctoral Scholar positions in neurodegenerative diseases are available in Dr. Xinglong Wang's laboratory within Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience at University of Nebraska Medical Center. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to study common mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration in various major neurodegenerative diseases with a focus on Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. See our most recent publications for details (J Cell Biol. 2021, 220(10):e202101019; Nature communications. 2020, 11 (1), 1-16; Cell metabolism. 2018, 28 (3), 400-414. e8; Nature Medicine. 2016, 22:54-63.). These positions are immediately available. The ideal candidates should have just completed, or be nearing completion of a PhD in biology or related majors. Peer-reviewed publication record and working experience in molecular biology and cell biology techniques are highly desirable. A background in the field of Neuroscience is a plus. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research and receive outstanding training.
