苏黎世联邦理工学院George Haller教授招收Nonlinear Dynamics方向博士生。 研究方向： Coherent structures in turbulence Transport and active and passive scalars and vectors in unsteady flows Machine-learning nonlinear systems from data Reconstructing ocean currents from float observations Exact model reduction to invariant manifolds for high-dimensional mechanical systems Computing periodic, quasiperiodic and random response efficiently in nonlinear mechanical vibrations Uncertainty quantification using a system's internal dynamics Velocity field reconstruction from observed scalar fields. 导师介绍：Prof. Haller是APS,SIAM和ASME的Fellow, 于CalTech获得博士学位。曾在Brown University, MIT和McGill University工作。关于Prof. Haller更多信息，请访问他个人主页 https://georgehaller.com/about/index.html 招生要求: Ph.D. candidates wishing to pursue these projects are expected to have an interested in theoretical and numerical analysis, a strong background in applied mathematics and mechanics, as well as demonstrated experience with numerical methods. 申请人需要有硕士学位（入学前获得即可），有比较扎实的数学和力学基础，欢迎数学/物理/机械/力学等相关专业的同学联系。 If interested, please send your CV, bachelor and masters level transcripts (and copies of your English test scores if you are not in an English-language study program) to Prof. George Haller at georgehaller@ethz.ch. |
