[交流] 美国东北大学(波士顿) 张许丰 教授 招收物理、电子、光学等相关背景研究生

prof. xufeng zhang received his bs and ms from zhejiang university in 2007 and 2010, respectively.  in 2016, he received his phd from yale university and won the henry prentiss becton graduate prize for exceptional achievement in research. from 2016 to 2018 he worked at argonne national laboratory as a nikola tesla named postdoctoral fellow, and then as an assistant scientist from 2018 to 2021. prof. zhang holds a joint appointment at the university of chicago and is a member of the center for novel pathways to quantum coherence in materials for energy. prof. zhang has authored and coauthored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal publications (https://scholar.google.com/citat ... l=en&oi=ao), and serves in the advisory committee for the ieee transactions on quantum engineering. prof. zhang led or participated in multiple grants from nsf, doe, darpa, etc.
prof. zhang’s lab in the department of electrical and computer engineering at northeastern university will work on novel physics and applications of solid-state devices, and the primary research focuses include: (1) developing novel integrated magnonic devices for classical and quantum information processing; (2) investigating millimeter wave/thz technologies for quantum applications; and (3) exploring new microwave and optical techniques for integrated sensors and sensor networks. the lab seeks highly motivated graduate students in electrical engineering, physics, and other related areas with a strong interest in any of the following (or related) topics:
•        magnetic materials and devices
•        microwave and thz technologies
•        superconducting devices and cryogenic measurement
•        integrated photonics
•        mems/nems
