英国布里斯托大学(QS世界排名62)通信系统与网络Lab招CSC全奖博士生

Multiple CSC supporting PhD positions with full scholarships are open for applications at the Communication Systems and Networks (CSN) Lab, University of Bristol, jointly supervised by Prof. Mark Beach (布里斯托大学资深正教授,前系主任,GS引用8000+) and Dr. Shuping Dang (2020年于自然子刊Nature Electronics以第一作者身份发表6G展望论文《What Should 6G Be?》;并于IEEE TIT, TWC, TCOM, IoTJ, TVT, SJ, WCL, CL等多个知名期刊发表多篇论文). The successful PhDs are expected to conduct world-class theoretical and practical research on 6G communications.

科研方向
The interesting research topics at the CSN Lab include but are not limited to
◆ High-frequency wireless communications: modeling, performance analysis, and optimization
◆Massive MIMO and advanced transceiver design for wireless communication systems
◆ Artificial intelligence/machine learning aided wireless communication systems and networks
◆ Physical-layer security for wireless communication systems
◆ Drone/UAV based communications and networking
◆ Meta-surface/RIS based communications and networking
◆ Novel modulation and coding techniques for wireless communication systems
◆ Novel diversity and multiplexing techniques for wireless communication systems

申请人要求
Potential applicants of the PhD positions hold or are expected to hold the bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering, communication engineering, signal processing, or other relevant disciplines. Applicants already with publications in IEEE Transactions, Letters, and/or flagship conferences are highly preferred. Applicants also need to meet the English profile level E (IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with no score below 6.0; or TOEFL iBT: 85 overall with R20, L20, S21, W20).
