大家好，这里给系里做一下广告。对 machine learning/data science, computational biology, materials science, astrophysics, and mathematics 感兴趣的同学, 欢迎申请 (2022年秋季入学). 大家可以和感兴趣的导师联系：https://www.sc.fsu.edu/people/faculty =================================================================== The Interdisciplinary Ph.D. Program in the Department of Scientific Computing at Florida State University develops students into scientists and engineers who will create advanced computational methods and tools to model and solve challenging problems at the intersections of scientific disciplines. Our Ph.D. program offers coursework and research in a broad range of subjects that develop expertise in Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing with applications to Biological Science, Health, Physical and Chemical Science, Fire Dynamics, and Robotics. Our Interdisciplinary Master's Degree program in Data Science offers students training in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning. To be considered for funding, the deadline for application for the Fall 2022 cohort is January 15, 2022, although one can apply until the end of June 2022. After January 15, the funding of students will still be considered on a case-by-case basis. Self-funded applicants interested in our 12 to 18 months Masters program in either Computational Science or Data Science will be considered throughout the Spring Semester.
