the appointee will work on the development of polymer composites and nano-/micro-encapsulation technique. his/her role will involve formulation study of polymerization of nano-/micro-capsules and assembly the capsules into matrix composites with desired performance requirements such as mechanical performance, temperature, thermal conductivity, service life; as well as the processing into finished products. he/she will work in a dynamic and efficient team and is responsible for: conduct formulation development of nano/micro-capsules and conduct characterization tests; develop polymer composite with required performances according to different needs; advise on the manufacturing process of polymer composite such as molding and casting; prepare technical reports and presentations in timely manner; support scale up and commercialization of all r&d results for industrial partners; incubating idea to explore the opportunity of cooperation with industry partners; and performing other duties assigned by supervisor. 入職要求 master or phd holder in polymer science, materials science, chemistry, physics or related disciplines; solid experience and knowledge in polymer formulation development and fabrication, especially in the field of interface and colloidal chemistry or nano-/micro-encapsulation technique; solid experience in polymer processing and engineering; experiences or knowledge in phase change materials (pcm) and heat transfer will be a plus; industrial experience in supporting scale-up process are preferred; good command of spoken and written english and chinese; good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, ability of literature and patent review are needed; work independently and able to communicate in teamwork; and candidates with more experience will be considered as senior engineer. 薪酬及福利 we offer 5-day work, attractive remuneration package to the successful candidates. salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. medical and dental benefits as well as annual leave will be provided. we also offer an open, collaborative and friendly working environment as well as ample capacity for your professional development. appointment will be offered on a contract basis, renewable subject to mutual agreement and performance. about nami nami, incorporated in 2006 as a subsidiary of the hong kong university of science and technology, is designated by the innovation and technology commission of the hong kong government as a research and development center for nanotechnology and advanced materials. nami undertakes and provides support for market-driven research in nanotechnology and advanced materials, and strives for commercialization of the technologies to benefit the industry and the society at large, as well as re-industrialization to promote the economic growth and sustainability of hong kong. if interested, please contact: xiyaozhang@nami.org.hk wechat: zhxiyao 发自小木虫IOS客户端 [ last edited by zhxiyao on 2021-11-8 at 11:29 ] [ last edited by zhxiyao on 2022-5-6 at 16:18 ] [ Last edited by zhxiyao on 2022-5-6 at 16:28 ] [ 来自版块群 港澳台 ] |
