The open access journal Water (ISSN 2073-4441, IF 3.103) is launching a new Special Issue “Advanced Oxidation Processes for Emerging Contaminant Removal”, which Prof. Dr. Dionysios (Dion) Demetriou Dionysiou, Prof. Dr. Yujue Wang, and Dr. Huijiao Wang are serving as the Guest Editors.

Papers may be submitted from now until 30 March 2022 as papers will be published on an ongoing basis. Submitted papers should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We also encourage authors to send a short abstract or tentative title to the guest editors (DIONYSDD@UCMAIL.UC.EDU, wangyujue@tsinghua.edu.cn, wanghuijiao@cumtb.edu.cn) or the Editorial Office in advance (Takeshi.zhou@mdpi.com).

Note that Water is fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes. Article Processing Charges (APCs) of CHF 2000 apply to accepted papers. You may be entitled to a discount if you have previously received a discount code or if your institute is participating in the MDPI Institutional Open Access Program (IOAP); for more information, see: https://www.mdpi.com/about/ioap.
