Postdocs opening, New Jersey Institute of Technology There is a postdoc position opening in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of New Jersey Institute of Technology (Carnegie classification: R1 university, top 100 national university in 2020) in the New York metropolitan area of the United States. Its research topic is on electronic sensors, machine learning, and their applications in power grids. This position will work on research projects related to advanced monitoring and sensing technologies for transmission and distribution grids. Previous experience and background in power engineering are preferred, but not necessary. Particularly, the candidate should be interested in hardware implementation. It is looking for candidates with background in electrical, power, or electronic engineering. The annual salary is approximately $60k.
