英国伦敦大学学院张文娟课题组高级技术员招聘

张文娟博士在2014年获得中国科学技术大学博士学位，先后在伦敦伯贝克学院/伦敦大学学院和剑桥MRC分子生物学实验室Sjors Scheres和 Michel Goedert课题组进行博士后研究。2021年7月加入伦敦大学学院并组建实验室。张文娟博士已发表15篇研究论文，其中以第一作者（或共同第一作者）在Nature, Cell reports, Acta Neuropathologica, Elife, JBC等杂志上共发表论文7篇。课题组主要运用冷冻电镜技术结合生物化学和细胞生物学实验方法，阐述神经退行性疾病相关蛋白质发生聚集的分子机制。 因课题研究需要，现公开招聘实验室高级技术员1名，待遇优厚，职位永久。要求有体外重组蛋白过量表达和蛋白质纯化的实验室工作经验。 详细招聘信息及应聘流程请参考网页 https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/CJG499/senior-research-technician Senior Research Technician in University College London, UK We are seeking to recruit a Senior Research Technician in the laboratory of Dr Wenjuan Zhang in MRC Prion Unit, Institute of Prion Diseases, University College London (UCL). Dr. Zhang got her phD degree from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2014. After post-doc research in Institute of Structural and Molecular Biology (UCL/Birkbeck College), and MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge (Sjors scheres and Michel Goedert group), she joined UCL in July, 2021 as a group leader. Her research work has been published in Nature, Cell reports, Acta Neuropathologica, Elife, JBC, etc. Her group will focus on the study of the molecular mechanisms of prion-like protein assembly in neurodegenerative diseases and yeast cells using an integrated biochemical and structural approach. The successful candidate would require substantial practical experience in molecular biology techniques (cloning, transformations, mL to L -scale bacterial or yeast cell culture) and in recombinant protein expression and protein purification.
