[交流] 新加坡南洋理工大学土木工程专业PhD全奖

One funded Ph.D. position is available under the supervision of Dr. Yuguang Fu in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The position is in civil engineering and will focus on AI and IoT technologies for intelligent infrastructure modeling, monitoring, and management. The candidate is expected to start in Fall 2022.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. •        A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (preferred) in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. •        Strong background in finite element analysis, linear algebra, calculus, and probability.
  3. •        Excellent programming skills for one of the languages, such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  4. •        Research experience in structural engineering, machine learning, signal processing, or circuit design.
  5. •        Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  6. •        Satisfy admission requirements of Nanyang Technological University (e.g., GRE ~319 + 3.5, TOEFL ~100, transcripts; please visit https://www.ntu.edu.sg/education ... esearch)#admission)


Application Procedure
The application for enrollment in August 2022 is from Oct 1, 2021, to Jan 31, 2022. Please contact Dr. Yuguang Fu (yuguang.fu@ntu.edu.sg) first by sending the following materials with the subject of “LIFT Ph.D. application”:

  1. •        Cover letter (< 2 pages) telling your motivation, research interest and experience.
  2. •        CV or resume (including a list of publications, if applicable).
  3. •        Transcripts from all post-secondary institutes.
  4. •        A list of up to three references.


The review process will begin immediately, and early communication is encouraged.
