【课题组简介】 伊利诺伊大学芝加哥分校 （The University of Illinois Chicago，简称UIC）药学院Prof. Zongmin Zhao课题组诚聘多名博士后和全奖博士生。UIC隶属于著名的伊利诺伊大学系统，是一所世界一流的公立研究型大学，被卡耐基教育基金会认证为特高研究型大学 （Top-tier Research University）。UIC位列2021年QS美国大学排名第36位，公立大学第11位。学校科研经费充足，是长期位列美国研究经费排名前50的机构之一。UIC位于美国第三大城市芝加哥，地理位置优越，坐拥充足的学术和就业资源。UIC药学院是全美顶尖药学院之一，被US News & Report列为全美Top-10 (2020年)。 赵宗敏课题组运用免疫学，纳米医学，基因编辑，细胞工程，和免疫工程等交叉学科手段，致力于开发新一代药物递送系统和新型细胞及免疫疗法用于重大疾病的诊断和治疗。课题组多项研究成果发表于包括Cell, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Science Advances, PNAS, Advanced Materials, Biomaterials, Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews在内的多个国际著名期刊。更多信息详见课题组网站(https://www.zongminzhao.com/)。目前课题组诚聘博士后一名，全奖博士生多名。具体职位要求如下： 【博士后职位介绍】 We have an opening for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow in the areas of cellular engineering, immunoengineering, and drug delivery. The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to lead scientific projects and participate in grant writing, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and lab management. Qualifications 1) Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Immunology, Biology, or a related discipline by the time of appointment. 2) Expertise in three or more of the following areas: Molecular Biology, Immunology, Drug Delivery, Gene Editing, Nanotechnology, Cell Therapy, Immunoengineering, Biomaterials, Microfluidics, Computational Modeling, Cancer Therapy, Drug Formulations, and Animal Models. Priority will be given to candidates who are proficient in immunology, molecular biology, cell therapy, or genetic engineering. 3) Additional expertise in in vivo experiments, mammalian cell culture, PCR, western blotting, flow cytometry, bioconjugation, and nanoparticle synthesis will be preferred. 4) Strong track record of publications in high-impact journals. 5) Self-motivated and well organized. Strong oral and written communication skills. Capability to conduct research independently and to work collaboratively with other fellows in the lab. 【全奖博士生职位简介】 We have openings for prospective Ph.D. students with a background in pharmaceutical sciences, drug delivery, chemistry, biology, bioengineering, chemical engineering, immunology, cell biology, etc. Expected start date is 2022 Fall.
