Assoc. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ilya Okulov's group in Bremen University (2021QS: 370) is looking for PHD students and postdocs. Since 2021, he acts as Head of Department Processing of Functional Materials, Leibniz-IWT Bremen, Germany he also has been professorship in Ural Federal University, Russia since 2019. from 2019, he was Visiting Assistant Professor, Institute of Materials Research, Tohoku University, Japan Although he is young, he is enthusiastic and fruitful. He has published Advanced Materials, Nature Communications, Acta Materialia, Nano Research, etc. This year he has already 9 published papers including 2 papers in Composites Part B (IF>9). Slogan:As yound scientist, I know better what young researches need than old fashion professors. I know how to publish Nature Commun. and Adv. Mater. We will work hard and publish one more Nature/Adv. Mater. together. We can guarantee that you become Prof. in China after your PhD or Postdoc with us. His research interests are: Additive Manufacturing; Liquid Metal Dealloying; Powder Metallurgy; Flash (rapid) Annealing; Materials Design; Porous Materials; Permanent Magnets; Metallic Glasses; Composite Materials; Biomedical Materials; High-Entropy Alloys The institute has a unique combination of equipment incl. - Analysis: FIB SEM, atom probe, X-ray microscopy, TEM, XRD, mechanical testing machines, PPMS, vibration magnetometer, etc. - Synthesis: 4 SLM 3D-printers, HIP, DED 3D-printer, 3 atomization plants for powder production for 3D-printing, liquid metal dealloying, suction casting, heat treatment oven, etc. There are two types of opening position: CSC PhD student and CSC-DAAD postdoc. - For postdoc, the salary of 2050 � + health insurance + travel ticket is very competitive.
