Applications are invited for postdoc or fully-funded PhD positions in the Machine Learning Laboratory at University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY), led by Prof Yiming Ying (https://www.albany.edu/~yy298919/). See more detailed information below. 1. The candidate should be self-motivated and have strong interests in data science and machine learning with strong math background. 2. The candidate will play a leading role in conducting innovative research projects in a stimulating, open, and international research environment in a highly talented and motivated machine learning and data science group at UAlbany. 3. A non-exhaustive list of topics that are currently investigated by the team includes machine learning theory, deep learning, and trustworthy machine learning. **Location** About University at Albany: Established in 1844 and designated a University Center of the State University of New York in 1962, as R1 research university, the University at Albany’s broad mission of excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, research, and public service engages a diverse student body of more than 17,900 students in nine schools and colleges across three campuses.
