[交流] 美国内布拉斯加大学林肯分校环境工程Dr. Xu Li招聘博士生

Dr. Xu Li’s lab in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a doctoral student to start in Spring 2022.  Dr. Li’s research revolves around microbes critical to environmental quality and public health.  By working at the interface of environmental engineering and applied microbiology, his research group aims to advance knowledge on microbial communities relevant to contaminant biotransformation, resource recovery, and antibiotic resistance.  The doctoral student will work on a research project that aims to recover energy and resources from agricultural wastes.

The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a closely related field; strong academic records; excellent English communication skills; and high self-motivation.  Experiences with molecular biology techniques (e.g., quantitative PCR and next generation sequencing) and bioinformatics are desirable, but not required.

Dr. Xu Li目前的研究方向包括（1）抗性基因在环境中的传播途径；（2）家畜粪便的资源回收等。课题涉及机器学习，qPCR, 宏基因组和蛋白质组等新技术应用。课题组产出稳定，每年可以在ES&T, WR和CEJ等期刊发表论文。目前课题组共有三名博士生，组内气氛和谐，李老师人非常好，非常尊重学生的想法。有意向的同学请直接联系李老师(xuli@unl.edu)。谢谢！
