香港理工大学电子计算系Tan Kaychen教授与应用物理系杨明博士招一名博士后，主要是做机器学习与高通量计算研究电催化材料，具体见广告文档，有兴趣的朋友可直接联系相应电子邮件。 香港理工大学电子计算系/应用物理系招收博士后1名 Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Machine Learning and First-principles Modeling A postdoctoral research fellow position is open immediately at the Department of Computing and the Department of Applied Physics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Successful candidate is expected to work with a team of AI and computational materials scientists. The project is to adapt AI techniques such as deep learning in analysis of materials properties and to accelerate the design of electrocatalyst materials. Candidates should have a PhD degree in physics, materials science or a closely related field (awarded or to be awarded soon). He / she must be well versed in the research areas such as high-throughput calculations, machine learning models, and electrocatalyst materials. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and able to guide undergraduate students. Successful candidate is expected to perform high-throughput calculations based on density functional theory (DFT), develop machine learning models, and database development. Experience in DFT-based calculations and machine learning is required. In addition, experiences in Matlab, Python, Fortran, and in study of electrocatalyst materials are preferred. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. 陈家进教授目前是香港理工大学电子计算学系讲座教授及IEEE Fellow，担任IEEE计算智能学会副主席, IEEE旗舰期刊如IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence的副主编等。陈家进教授已经主编七本专著，发表超过200篇期刊论文，是计算智能领域的著名学者。 杨明博士目前是香港理工大学应用物理系助理教授，主要研究兴趣包括应用高通量第一性原理计算、机器学习等研究新颖功能材料，目前杨明博士已经在国际知名刊物上发表超过130篇期刊论文，并有3项专利。 |
