20g of NaHCO3 is added to 100ml of water, boiled for 5 minutes. After filtering, 100ml of water is added into remaining dregs, and then it undergoes 5 minutes for boiling, following filtering. Mixed filtrate is cooled. Titration is completed with 0.5M of hydrochloric acid, using methyl orange Cxylene cyanol FF solution as indicator. Adding 10ml of ammonia buffer (pH=10.9), 0.05m of EDTA is used to accomplish titration, using mordant black 11 solution as indicator. Four-fifth of 0.05m of EDTA is remained, and then 0.5M hydrochloric acid per ml is equivalent to the amount of 42mg of NaHCO3. The weight per ml of mixture is used to calculate content percentage of NaHCO3.
