Vacancy - 1 Joint PhD Scholarship (Fully funded for four years, two years in HK and two years in TW) Supervisor: Dr. Alice Hu, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and Department of Mechanical Engineering, City University of Hong Kog Prof. Chin-Lung Kuo, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Taiwan University Topic: Application of ab-initio calculation method on quantum sensing. We currently have strong collaboration with other research groups. By joining our group, you will participate in some very innovative and fundamental material modeling and analysis technique. We work as a team and discuss with each other frequently. A self-motivated student who is easy to communicate is expected. Familiar with VASP or any other ab-initio software; or experience in coding (any language) 2. Master degree in mathematics, physics, materials science, or chemistry is preferred, while exceptional Bachelor degree holders are also welcome. 3. English skills: IELTS>6.5, or TOEFL>79 |
